The Name

Amaranthos: the flower that does not fade.

The Greeks named it for a flower that kept its color long after being cut — amaranthos, the unfading one — and used it for things meant to last.

We chose it because that's what was missing from medicine: not another clinic, another test, another program — but one relationship that endures. Someone who knows your whole story, searches the whole world when it matters, tells you the truth even when the truth is "do less" — and is still there, still yours, years on.
